30-Jul-2009 | Tasmania’s largest tourism operator, the Federal Group has announced the appointment of Mr Len Cuff to the position of General Manager Group Sales & Marketing.
The Federal Group owns a number of quality hotels and signature experiences marketed under their award winning Pure Tasmania brand, in addition to their iconic entertainment properties, Wrest Point and Country Club Tasmania. Pure Tasmania encompasses The Henry Jones Art Hotel, Strahan Village, Freycinet Lodge, Cradle Mountain Chateau, West Coast Wilderness Railway and Gordon River Cruises.
Mr Cuff has held numerous senior tourism roles in Australia and overseas, including Director of Operations for Contiki Holidays. In 1998 Mr Cuff was appointed General Manager of Tasmania’s Temptations Holidays and in 2002 became Tourism Tasmania’s Director of Distribution, responsible for the development of the state government’s tourism e-commerce strategy and the rationalization of their retail and wholesale operations.
Federal Group’s Director of Tourism, Mr Bernard Dwyer explained,

Following his appointment, Mr Cuff stated,
