30-Apr-2012 | Singapore Airlines backed low-cost carrier Tiger Airways will recommence flights between its Melbourne home-base and Hobart utilising its Airbus A320 aircraft.

Fares between Melbourne and Hobart have been released from just $45.95 for travel commencing November, 2012.

Stuart Nettlefold said "I am pleased to see Tiger's return to Tasmania. Airline access and competition is of key importance to conferences and business events and the state's economy". Mr Nettlefold is a member of the State Government Task Force on Access.
